NSS Unit 2016 of Amal College got the award for Best Institute by University of Calicut; Also Mr Janeesh Babu received the award for Best Programme Officer in the University

Amal College secured First Rank and Five Star recognition from Additional Skill Acquisition Programme (ASAP) an initiative of  the  Dept. of Higher Education, Govt. of Kerala,   for conducting 21 day residential  Communicative English Training Programme.  

The department of Tourism and Hotel Management h got an entry into Limca Book of Records, for showcasing the skills and creativity of the students marked for meticulous planning and pace in the food preparation and its uniqueness.
